Overview

This website, homeseats.shop, is operated by HomeSeats, an online store for office and gaming chairs. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean HomeSeats. By visiting the site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies they refer to: our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the store

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence. You may not use our products or this site for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse service to anyone who breaches these terms.

Chair descriptions

We describe each chair as accurately as we can: its dimensions, seat height range, materials, weight capacity, adjustments and included parts, using information from the manufacturer. Measurements can vary slightly between production batches, and colors can look different on different screens. Please check the dimensions against your desk and space before ordering. If a chair is not as described, our Refund Policy applies.

Prices and orders

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices may change, but you pay the price shown when you place your order. Sales tax, where it applies, is shown at checkout before you pay. We may limit quantities, and we may cancel an order with a full refund if a chair was listed with an obvious pricing or description error, or if it becomes unavailable.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery areas, costs and timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy: free shipping within the 48 contiguous United States, with an estimated delivery time of 7–10 business days. Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, and approved refunds are issued within 7–10 business days of inspection.

Assembly and safe use

  • Assemble each chair exactly as the manufacturer's instructions describe, and re-tighten the screws after the first weeks of use.
  • Never exceed the weight capacity stated for the chair.
  • Don't stand on a chair, use it as a step, or lean back further than its recline and tilt mechanism allows.
  • Only a qualified technician should service or replace the gas lift cylinder. Don't open, heat or puncture it.
  • Chairs are made for adults and are not toys. Keep small parts and packaging away from children.

We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, modification or loads above the stated weight capacity.

Manufacturer warranty

Warranty coverage, where offered, is provided by each chair's manufacturer under its own terms. We are happy to help you contact the manufacturer and file a claim.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date. If we find an error, we correct it as soon as possible.

Intellectual property

The HomeSeats name, logo, and the text and design of this site belong to HomeSeats. Product names and brands belong to their respective manufacturers. Content from this site may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeSeats is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable federal law of the United States. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your state of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with its date at the top.
